The Web watcher: Farewell French and Saunders – Times Online
“After decades of satires, spoofs and skits, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders called time on their long partnership at the weekend, performing their final show in London.”
First Ade and Rik and now this. I can’t take it anymore. Time and age are my enemies. I can embrace change but only to a point, I mean really, can’t there be some things that just stay the same?
And anyway, who’s there to replace them? The “Little Britain” folks? Pah. Don’t get me started on that garbage. Yes I said garbage. It’s garbage. Garbage!
Now is the time to embrace certain technological advances, says the quasi-neo-Luddite, and be thankful for the DVD.

Speaking of Adrian Edmondson:
“We got a farm to live the rural idyll, but my wife Jennifer [Saunders] thinks I should see someone about my rage towards farm machinery. I really do scream myself hoarse when a harrow won’t work or a tractor won’t start. She thinks I should have therapy for it. It is therapy.”
